Management
Mechanical Engineering forms the basis for various engineering disciplines. Graduates of this field may be employed in a vast range of career opportunities. The programme is designed to enable engineers develop their skills and competencies in mechanical, maintenance and manufacturing engineering sectors to meet the needs of today’s industry.
The following qualification is also available as exit award of the BEng in Mechanical Engineering.
1Tuition Fees inclusive of VAT 5%
Students will gain a range of essential competencies in areas relevant to their current or intended employment, such as CAD, drafting, engineering design, engineering management, employability skills and project management. Students will learn to use their mathematical and analytical skills to solve real-life problems. They will be equipped with competencies in organizing and analysing information, interacting with computing technology and selecting engineering materials.
Our programmes provide you with the essential skills and knowledge required to succeed in your chosen specialisation and the aviation industry in general.
Mechanical engineers are sought-after in all types of industries, such as construction, marine, oil and gas and aerospace. The programme helps learners build a firm foundation for employment. Graduates may choose to pursue a higher education (Master’s and PhD degrees) in several engineering areas.
Practical Experience
Not only will students learn comprehensive theory, but EAU will also provide the means to gain practical experience in well-equipped laboratories and workshops as well as hands on experience in a real workplace environment through on job training and internships.
Accreditation for Prior Learning(APL):
(APL) is an academic process that recognises and values students previous studies.
(APL) is allowed in Year 1 and Year 2, but not Year (3). I.e. you can skip modules from the first year and even the second year in case you did similar modules in another institution. But you cannot skip any module from the 3rd year.
