The Bachelor of Art (Honours) in Applied Business is designed to provide students with an opportunity to gain an insight into different aspects of general business which will provide a solid foundation in essential business practice.
The Bachelor of Art (Honours) in Applied Business is a one-year “Top Up” programme offered on part-time delivery mode that is designed to “top up” the students’ existing vocational qualification (e.g. UAE Higher Diploma, UK Higher National Diploma, Air Transport Pilot License) to a bachelor degree. It has been designed in line with international standards and aims to provide a high quality business education. The curriculum is carefully designed to integrate core business and specialised courses as detailed in the illustrative study plan.

Students will gain understanding of how the business sector operates, the challenges involved in managing a business and what makes it successful. Students will study a variety of core business courses such as global logistics, project management, business strategy, financial services and sales and merchandising. The final module is an extensive research project.

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Applied Business award is conferred by Emirates Aviation University and Coventry University, UK.The EAU award is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
