Rukshanda Kamran, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Mathematics & Data Science. With a robust academic background and expertise in various facets of computer science, she has made significant contributions to higher education, research, and curriculum development. As a researcher, Rukshanda has garnered acclaim for her work in High-Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cloud Computing, Supply Chain Digitization, and Blockchain technologies. Her scholarly pursuits include publishing papers and presenting at conferences on topics such as cloud security, blockchain, and the digitization of supply chains. In addition to her research endeavours, Rukshanda is a proficient software developer with a keen ability to adapt and collaborate in rapidly changing environments. Her technical skills include HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Responsive Web Design (RWD), and expertise in CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS. She is also well-versed in JavaScript frameworks/libraries, including React.js, Vue.js, and Angular. Her commitment to fostering a dynamic learning environment is evident in her role as a Student Coordinator, where she developed professional relationships with students to enhance instruction and identified academic strengths and obstacles. In the realm of research, Rukshanda has been a Research Assistant at the University of Sharjah and the University of Wollongong, Dubai, contributing to various projects and producing reports outlining results. She has also published extensively in reputable journals and conferences, addressing topics such as efficient HPC, energy-aware VM consolidation, blockchain technology for logistics, and designing a hybrid cloud for Industry 4.0. Rukshanda Kamran's diverse skill set includes program development, academic support, professional development, and a deep understanding of technical documentation. She is also proficient in Java, C++, React, C#, .Net, Blockchain, HTML5, Web3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, and database administration.
